Complaining
about your ISP
Check your terms and conditions, the chances are that NO guarantees
are given about service levels.
However this doesn't mean that you can't complain when you're
not getting a decent level of service.
If you're consistently getting a poor level of service and you've
been through all your settings, then you might want to consider
changing ISPs. This is only feasible if you're on either a free
ISP, or a monthly paid ISP.
In the current climate of massive change there is one very good
piece of advice I can offer: Don't sign
up for a years service with anyone at the moment unless you can
afford to write off that amount of money.
The rate at which ISPs are inventing new payment plans and schemes
is phenomonal.
Surftime is going to flop - thats my prediction for 2000! Why
anyone would want to pay £30 a month when companies are
offering 24/7 for free (or for you using them for your non-internet
phone calls).
