Back to work on the early shift. Its quite fun really. Because we only have the free time starting in the evening, its very quiet on the early shift.
Thank god we're not offering more free time! That would be a nightmare.
Apparently the newsgroup was quiet today... We must actually be having a half-decent day. One of my colleagues told me this whilst playing deathmatch Quake. Its one of the perks of the job he said, but really he's testing the servers for gaming quality as there have been a few complaints.

Answering the phones was quite good today. Most of the people who rang up were easy to sort out. Just told them to reinstal their dial-up networking software. Kept three people on the phone for over half an hour. I should get a bonus for that.
I find its always good to suggest a cure for their problem with involves a reboot or two! I should write a book of handy hints for support workers!

I might indulge in a pint at the pub before I go home. I'm getting quite a taste for the local brew!
