Diary of a Internet Support Worker.

Feb 2nd
There was a whispering in my hearth,

Someone has swapped chairs with the guy who's off. I might have his pencil box, it'd look nice on my desk. I might take it tomorrow if he's not back.
Phones have been the normal level today. Just the usual incompetants who can't set up their email settings, or their newsgroup settings.
Someone sent us a postcard today. Not sure who its from - the message was in red crayon and it was a bit messy. I've pinned it up on the message board.
I'm going to be given responsibility for ringing up the man who tells the man to change the status pages. Its quite a responsibility. It doesn't however mean I get a pay rise.
We've had very few messages in the newsgroup today. Just someone moaning about the line being engaged. Thats appendix 7c. Blame the telephone provider. First day I've been here and nothing major has broken. Hurray.
